Austin Schurman from Appoqunimink has committed to attend Alvernia University in PA where he will join the Baseball team.

The U of DE announced that Ella Rishko has transferred in from Virginia Tech to join the Women's Lacrosse team. Ella is a Cape Henlopen graduate.

Lulu Rishko from Cape Henlopen has signed to play for the Women's Lacrosse team at the U of DE.

Boy's Soccer

Caravel Academy's Boy's Soccer team started off the 20224 season with a convincing 6-0 win over Wilmington Friends. Aidan Alston scored 5 goals in the game assisted on 4 of those by Finlay Lum.

Sussex Central beat Aspira HS 5-1. Caleb Perez scored three goals for the Golden Knights.

Field Hockey

St. Marks rolled past Ursuline 7-0 in these two teams first game of the season. Katie Hanich scored three times and assisted on another goal. Emersyn O'Leary had two goals and two assists.

Concord beat Delcastle 6-0. Lily Flynn scored twice and had two assists for the Raiders.

Smyrna beat Archmere 4-3. Bree Moffett scored three time for the Eagles in their opening-day victory. Maura Read scored twice for Archmere.
