Tatnall selected Rahshan LaMons as their Athlete of the Week for last week. He is from the football team. Rahshan accumulated 318 yards in total offense, rushing for 274 Yards on 19 carries with 2 touchdowns. He completed 2 passes for 18 yards, and had 2 receptions for 26 Yards. Defensively he recorded 1 interception, and recovered a fumble for defensive touchdown




Sussex Tech's Athlete of the Week was Jaryn Sample from the football team. In just one half the junior had 14 carries for 114yds and 4 rushing TD's. The starters were pulled for the second half and Sample got to watch their Homecoming victory and rest after his fantastic half of football.


Field Hockey

Kali Clayton scored both goals in a 2-0 win for the Tatnall Hornets against Padua Academy.


Cape Henlopen beats Lake Forest 7-0. Sophomore Louise Rishko scored a hat trick and assisted on another goal. Mackinzie Brown scored twice for the Vikings.


Caravel shuts out Tower Hill 1-0. Addison Van Rensler with the shutout in goal for the Buccaneers.


Jordan Hollaman, Maci Bradford and Ella Shockley each scored a pair of goals as the #1 Wildcats of Delmar blanked Polytech 8-0. Delmar has scored 92 goals in just ten games and have allowed just one all year and that one was in their victory over Cape Henlopen last week.


Morgan Leeper and Emma Westbrook both scored two goals as Sussex Academy defeats Caesar Rodney 5-0. Shelby Manlove picked up an assist.


Madison Simpson and Reese Nacrelli had two goals each in Smyrna's 5-0 win against Indian River.


Woodbridge upsets Sussex Central 3-2. Parker Keeler scored her second goal of the game, which proved to be the game winner, in the second quarter. The Blue Raiders outshot the Golden Knights 16-4.

Tori Adams scored 4 times as our third-ranked Sussex Tech blew out Seaford 9-0. Karli Penrod scored two of her own.

Boy's Soccer

Top ranked Salesianum lost a tough game to NJ powerhouse Rancocas Valley Regional 3-2.


Beckham Hasty and Klein Gyamfi both scored a pair of goals as Middletown dropped Glasgow 4-0.


Nicholas Panyko scored twice and Aldo Hernandez-Becerra had a goal and two assists in Cape Henlopen's win over Seaford.


Zion Atta-Krah scored all three goals as the Smyrna Eagles blanked Lake Forest...3-0.


Appoquinimink's Braxton Lockwood scored two times as the Jaguars beat Milford 3-0.

Volleyball

Cape Henlopen beat Indian River 3-2 in an exciting Henlopen Conference match which saw the deciding game decided 16-14. Rileigh Wilson lead the Vikings with 13 kills and Megan Smith had 30 assists.


Caesar Rodney beats Lake in straight sets. Alexandra Mardesich had 13 kills to lead the Riders.


Dover 3-0 over Sussex Academy. Olivia Anwanyu recorded 34 more assists for the Senators.


Brenya Reid had 16 kills for Sussex Central in their 3-0 win against Seaford.


Wilmington Friends cruised past Tatnall in straight sets. In this match Jocelyn Nathan recorded her 1000th career dig for the Quakers.


In an exciting 5-set match the Mustangs of MOT Charter came from behind 2 sets to 1 to beat the Vikings of St. Elizabeth. Daphne Sapp led MOT with 9 kills and Adrianna Alvarez had 33 assists. Newark Charter was back in the win column as they beat DMA 3-0. McKenna Ritchie had 22 digs for the Patriots.


Julia Yurkovich pounded 20 kills in a 3-0 win against Smyrna. Game scores were 25-15, 25-7, and 25-10.


Abigail Garcia paced the Auks with 15 kills in their 3-1 victory over Caravel. Madeline Fisher had 20 assists.
