Julie Kalesza


Goldey-Beacom saw more awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference with senior Julie Kulesza  named the league's Women's Basketball Player of the Week, freshman Lydia Betz tabbed the Rookie of the Week and sophomore Zakari McQueen selected to the Men's Weekly Honor Roll.

It is the second consecutive week Kulesza has been so honored, in addition to twice making the league's Weekly Honor Roll. 





Lydia Betz


Betz averaged 7.0 points and 6.5 rebounds over two games.  She scored 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting with four rebounds against American International.






Zakari McQueen

McQueen averaged 22.0 points to go with 12 three-pointers, six rebounds, four steals and four blocks.  He scored 24 points December 18 at Molloy before notching 20 points four days later vs. Adelphi.  McQueen knocked down six 3-pointers in each contest.

McQueen is 15th in the league with 13.5 points per game and first with 3.2 three-pointers per game.  He has scored at least 20 points in three of his last five contests.









Middletown's Kevin Howard broke the Cavalier Boy's Indoor Track record in the 3200 at the North Shore Holiday Classic at the Armory in NY. The new record time is 9:43.24








Eli Torres from William Penn registered the 100th win of his career with the Colonials Wrestling team.








Sloan Makoujy from Wilmington Friends won the 100th match of his career with the Quakers Wrestling team.





Shayla Hayes from Indian River has committed to attend Virginia Wesleyan University. She will join the Women's Lacrosse program








Skylar Schrader from Middletown has committed to attend Salisbury University where she will join the Cross Country and Track teams.
